WHERE I COME FROM
A resident of Addison since 1987, GQ is one of those Texans who “got here as soon as I could” though his family has lived in this country for more than a century. The Chicagoland native moved to Texas in 1981. GQ earned his Bachelor of Science in Technology degree from the University of Houston. GQ and Denise, a human resources executive, live in Midway Meadows. A self-confessed workaholic, he enjoys gardening, precision sports and cheering for the Texas Rangers. Along with the pride for his country and community, GQ's commitment to his family and friends are a reflection of the values instilled by his mentors and family.
A THRIVING CAREER
Guillermo is a mechanical design/detailing professional with 30+ years of experience in the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing consulting and construction industries. He enjoys tackling challenging projects utilizing cutting edge technology.
Today’s demanding complex BIM (Building Information Modeling) requirements can be overwhelming for Contractors, their workforce and their resources. Guillermo leads a team that takes pride in supporting and supplementing his clients’ workforce in a cost effective scalable manner.
His understanding of contracts and construction processes has been helpful in evaluating projects brought to the council for consideration.
